Pictures of Rosie

Image
Here are some pictures of my sweet bunny Rosie. She is almost three months old. This weekend she had quite the scare when I left her cage door open and she fell out. Rosie was running all over the place~ through the yard, puddles of rain water, mud and the barn as our dog chased her. Thankfully she came running into my arms and wasn't harmed~ just muddy and really worn out. I would have been so sad if I had lost her. I will be keeping her for now :)!

A Hen and Her Chick

Image
Blessings to all the mothers out there! I am especially thankful for my mom. She is a wonderful mom to my brothers and I. She does so much for us! God has blessed us abundantly with her. I love you mom :)! Anyways, I thought this would be an suitable post for Mother's Day. We have had two broody hens for quite some time now. Last week, my brother decided to pull one off of her nest. After doing so (and probably making the hen quite mad), he heard some peeping. Sure enough there was a chick that had just hatched! Enjoy the pictures….

Spring Update In Minnesota

Image
It's been awhile since I've posted, because I haven't thought of anything very worthwhile to write. I do have a few photos to share of spring here in Minnesota (we my mom and dad's Nikon up and running again). The grass is now completely green and we're just starting to see buds on the trees. The temperatures are still a bit cool, but we've had a few warmer days! A week or so ago it rained/stormed for about six days straight. It was hard to have six days of gray skies. I was so thankful when I saw the sun peep out from behind the clouds last Friday :)!
