Les Misérables

Some of you may already know that this summer I've been involved a pit orchestra (playing violin) for the production of Les Misérables. It has been a great experience so far and I have enjoyed it a lot. Although I don't have all of the notes worked out yet, I am practicing a ton at home! Though it's difficult, I am grateful for the challenging music that helps stretch my abilities in my violin studies :).

Summer Has Arrived!

Since today is the first official day of summer, I thought I would share a poem (my attempt  at writing a poem J) I wrote when I was ten years old:

Summer's here!  Look forward to hotness!  Go to the lake and go swimming.  Time for a break off school. But not if you're homeschooled!  One more thing! It's time to ride your bike!
Obviously I didn't really know how to write a poem when I was ten, but I wanted to share it because I thought the homeschooling part was kind-of funny J! Happy summer everyone!
